Donors to this campaign have numerous opportunities to help Conn continue its steady rise as a leader in college athletics through support for enhanced facilities, the best equipment and the finest coaches. We see the scoreboard, and we see how much everything that helps Camels win matters.

The spaces in which Camels train and practice, compete and lead play a fundamental role in the quality of the student-athlete experience—and the excellence that sets Conn apart. To build on recent momentum and best serve our student-athletes, the campaign offers multiple ways for donors to enhance our athletic facilities—including through contributions that help expand the athletics center and transform numerous spaces within the Dayton Arena. The campaign also prioritizes one of Conn’s most distinguishing and impactful assets. Thanks to its proximity to the Thames, Conn is the only NESCAC school with a waterfront. Commitments to revitalizing this waterfront and making it an even more powerful part of the student experience will allow Conn to set itself apart even further, by boosting our sailing and rowing programs and expanding recreational opportunities (in addition to its increased importance as a site for study and research).

Our student-athletes will be the first to emphasize how much the impact and influence of excellent coaching matters beyond the field of competition. Our coaches are mentors, role models and advisers, before, during and long after practices and games end—in fact, for the rest of many student-athletes’ lives. Through this campaign, donors can invest in critical initiatives to help Conn recruit, support and retain the finest coaches for all 28 varsity sports.

Enhancing the experience of our 500+ student-athletes, the Camel Athletics Fund provides critical support for equipment, team travel, recruiting and more. It is a pathway through which every donor who cares about Camel success and influence can ensure Conn is able to compete at the highest levels while preparing student-athletes for lives of leadership and impact.
